Ford

By 1969, Ford was at the pinnacle of the "Total Performance" era, symbolized by the legendary Mustang Mach 1 and the dominance of the GT40 at Le Mans. The early 1970s saw Ford continue to produce heavy-hitting V8 engines. 

The 1990s and 2000s saw Ford transition toward even higher performance through its Special Vehicle Team (SVT) and revived partnerships with Shelby American.
